Prescription Goggles FAQs
You will find the answers to our most frequently asked questions below:
You will need your prescription information issued by your optician. Specifically the SPH and CYL values for each eye.
We combine a proportion of the CYL value and the full SPH value to determine the lens power (or strength) required for your eyes. If the calculation results in an option which falls between two different powers (strengths), then we usually use the lower power to avoid eye strain.
It is worth noting that these lenses will not always be made to your exact prescription – if your prescription differs from the lens strengths we have available. However, the visual correction provided by the lenses will still greatly increase your vision for a clear swimming experience.
Some companies offer custom prescription goggles made to your exact prescription, but they tend to be significantly pricier.
In contrast to numerous suppliers, we offer distinct prescriptions for each eye.
Goggles crafted based on the aforementioned calculations are well-suited for occasional activities like swimming, and we’ve garnered satisfaction and loyalty from numerous customers.
